Volunteers Needed!  Sept. 18 & 19

This weekend, we are seeking help with removal of quality FREE chain link fencing from the Morgan Park school site and transport to the new dog part site on Riley Road (just off Jean Duluth Road). The new dog park must be completed with volunteer labor, or else a fundraising effort of $66,000 will be required for the necessary fencing to be purchased and installed. We were offered the opportunity to recycle some quality chain link fencing that will otherwise be junked from the Morgan Park school site. However we are having difficulty finding volunteers for this weekend!

All are invited and welcome to help tear down approximately 2000 feet of fencing at the old Morgan Park school that's been donated to construct the newest dog park!!  For up to date info on the new dog park, join us on Facebook at East Duluth Dog Park.

WHEN: Friday 9/18 and Saturday 9/19 both days staring at 9 AM. Come when you can and stay as long as you are able.

WHO: Everyone! All ages and abilities are welcome and encouraged to come partake. There are many tasks that require no skill nor muscle (there are many that do too). Enthusiasm and desire to see another park come together are the key components!

WHERE: Old Morgan Park school.
Go west on Grand. Turn into Morgan park on 88th Ave West. The school is on the corner of Falcon St. Turn right on Falcon and it will take you behind the school where the fencing is.
